Pet Food Bank
St. John’s hosts a monthly pet food bank operated by Mercy Rescue. Just as McDowell County has food insecurity in its population, it is also a challenge for some of the residents to provide adequate nutrition for their dogs or cats. If you are interested in volunteering or providing dog or cat food, donate through this form or contact Mercy Rescue at 652 7980. |
St. John's Community Garden St. John’s Community Garden was established to grow fresh produce for the Martha Simmons Food Pantry. If you would like to contribute to this ongoing ministry we always need new volunteers. If you would like to donate, click the link above, if you would like to volunteer please call the church office and we will put you in touch with Martha Zimmerman, our garden coordinator. |
